The Instrument Rating training is the next step to your aviation journey-it opens the door to flying in the clouds. Some say in the aviation world that it is your cheapest life insurance option. Take your certificate to a higher level by allowing yourself to fly in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).
Knowing how to fly through clouds gives pilots a whole new experience and a better understanding of the aircraft’s systems. With an instrument rating, low clouds and rainy days are no longer a factor with your flight plan.
Reference 14 CFR Part 61.65 for Instrument Rating aeronautical experience requirements.

The Commercial Pilot Certificate is the "professional flying career" certificate, which allows you to earn money as a pilot. During the course, you will learn about the privileges and limitations you have as a Commercial Pilot and receive in-depth training in your aircraft's systems and operation. You will learn to operate your aircraft to its maximum capabilities in high-performance maneuvers and achieve a new level of mastery and safety. We recommend acquiring your Instrument Rating first, as many of the hours required for an Instrument Rating count for your Commercial Certificate.

Becoming a Certified Flight Instructor will allow you to start earning money as a pilot and much-needed flight time towards the Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate. It will enable you to share your love for flying with others and gain experience as a pilot at the same time. It is an excellent time to consider becoming a pilot for a living. With a pilot shortage approaching, there has never been a better time to get into the aviation field.
